Brewster
firefighters extricate the driver of
a car that crashed off northbound
Interstate 684 in Southeast Feb. 15,
2008. The accident happened about a
mile south of the Interstate 84
interchange. The driver of the
vehicle was an off duty police
officer and was flown by Statflight
to the Westchester Medical Center in
Valhalla. The northbound side of
I-684 was closed during the rescue
operation backing up traffic for
miles.
